WHEN: The workshop begins on Monday, June 11th, 2012 and runs Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm for the first three weeks. The final week, the workshop hours are 9am-5pm with possible additional hours TBA. The conclusion of the workshop will take place on Saturday, July 7th, 2012.

WHAT: Collaborate, conceive, write, compose, choreograph, design and perform an original piece of theatre with music while working with professional artists and fellow students from around the world.
WHO: 25 Students join a professional staff from around the country and share their collective stories from all walks of life. In doing so, one, solid, unified piece of theatre is born. In order to make this happen, we need creative people of all types. This experience is about the creative process, and while the performance is an enormous part of our workshop, the focus is on the weeks of creation.
PERFORMANCES: Friday, July 6th, 2012 at 7:30 and Saturday, July 7th, 2012 at 2pm and 5pm at the Taft University Center on the NSU Campus.
LUNCHES: Students have access to the NSU food court where they can purchase lunch for around $7.00. Lunches are not included in the price of tuition.
APPLICATION PROCESS: All applicants (including returning students) must pay a $25 application fee. Your application is not complete until the fee has been paid. If you are a new student, you must fill out the essay questions that are on the application. If you are a returning student, you do not have to complete the essay, but you must type ‘returning’ into each essay field or your application will not process correctly. Your paperwork will not be processed until your application is complete. You will hear from us, via email, within 3 weeks from the submission of your application.
Please note that when you apply on-line, you must set up an account for EACH STUDENT, NOT for each family. Every individual student must register with their own account.
COST: $25 application fee. $1,250 tuition (Tuition & Production Package – includes 2 T-shirts, 2 posters, a 2-line playbill ad, performance DVD, and 2 adult tickets to one performance.) If you are a scholarship recipient or are receiving a multi-session discount, we will apply that to your account before you are charged. You will not see the deduction before you check out.
PAYMENT: When you apply you will be able to choose from the following options: Pay now in full, Pay in 2 monthly installments, Pay in 4 monthly installments or Pay by check. If the payment dates listed have already passed, you will be charged to get your account up to the current date. Please note if you choose the “Pay by check” option, you are responsible for sending in payment. You will NOT be billed other than the initial acceptance letter and statement of amount due that you will receive via email. RESIDENTIAL HOUSING: There is no residential housing available for this workshop.
SCHOLARSHIPS: To the extent possible, Lovewell will offer partial scholarships to families with limited financial resources. Each student is eligible for one scholarship per summer. You must first apply to the workshop and be accepted before applying for a scholarship. The scholarship program works on a first come, first serve rolling basis. Scholarship applications for our 2012 workshops will not be released until the end of 2011. We highly suggest applying and securing your space in the workshop even if you intend to apply for a scholarship.
REFUND POLICY
Cancellations made by March 31, 2012 are fully refundable. Cancellations made between April 1, 2012 and the date the workshop begins are refundable only if the space in the workshop can be filled by another full paying student. Cancellations (for any reason) made after the workshop begins are nonrefundable.
