WHO: Entering 4th grade – Entering 8th grade

WHEN: 07/10/2017- 07/30/2017

WHEN: The workshop begins on Monday, July 10th, 2017 and runs Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm for the first two weeks.  The final week, the workshop hours are 9am-6pm with additional hours on the performance weekend. The conclusion of the workshop will take place on Sunday, July 30th, 2017.

WHAT: Collaborate, conceive, write, compose, choreograph, design and perform an original piece of theatre with music while working with professional artists and fellow students from around the world.

WHO: 30 students will join a professional staff from around the world and share their collective stories from all walks of life.  In doing so, one, solid, unified piece of theatre is born.  In order to make this happen, we need creative people of all types.  This experience is about the creative process, and while the performance is an enormous part of our workshop, the focus is on the weeks of creation.

LUNCHES: Students have access to the NSU food court where they can purchase lunch for around $7.00. Lunches are not included in the price of tuition unless you are a residential student.

APPLICATION PROCESS: All applicants (including returning students) must pay a $25 application fee. Your application is not complete until the fee has been paid. If you are a new student, you must fill out the essay questions that are on the application. If you are a returning student, you do not have to complete the essay, but you must type ‘returning’ into each essay field or your application will not process correctly. Your paperwork will not be processed until your application is complete. You will hear from us, via email, within one month of submitting your application.

COST: $25 application fee. $990 tuition** (Tuition & Production Package – includes 1 Lovewell logo T-shirt, 1 poster, a 2-line playbill ad, a download of the video of the performance, and 2 adult tickets to one performance.) Please note that this is a $150 deduction from our 2015 prices and an additional $110 from our 2016 prices due to our great efforts to raise scholarship funds. We have decided to pass the savings down to ALL applicants.  If you are a scholarship recipient or are receiving a multi-session discount, we will apply that to your final payment. You will not see the deduction when you check out.

PAYMENT: When you apply you must pay the $25 application via Paypal at the time of submission and our system will guide you there. Your application is not complete until this fee is received. Upon acceptance into the workshop, you will receive an electronic invoice via email for the $990 tuition fee. There will be payment options available and you can pay in installments. Please note that we only take payment for the workshop via Paypal to the address info@lovewell.org.

DISCOUNTS: If a student is attending more than one of our summer workshops, they will receive one $100 discount from the final payment of the final workshop. If a family has more than one student attending one of our workshops, they will receive one $100 discount from the final payment of the final workshop.

RESIDENTIAL HOUSING: There is no residential housing available for our Junior workshops.

SCHOLARSHIPS: To the extent possible, Lovewell will offer partial scholarships to families with limited financial resources. Each student is eligible for one scholarship per summer. You must first apply to the workshop and be accepted before applying for a scholarship. The scholarship program works on a first come, first serve rolling basis. We highly suggest applying and securing your space in the workshop even if you intend to apply for a scholarship, as there are only 30 slots available in this workshop. Our scholarship applications are available HERE.

Cancellations made by March 1st, 2017 are fully refundable minus a 10{b7360ed853c079dec07d6dd2c44115071c33eba613ca2a21659a0c0037904010} administration fee. Cancellations made between March 2nd, 2017 and the date the workshop begins are refundable (minus a 10{b7360ed853c079dec07d6dd2c44115071c33eba613ca2a21659a0c0037904010} administration) only if the space in the workshop can be filled by another full paying student.  Cancellations (for any reason) made after the workshop begins are nonrefundable.
