Synopsis:
When Carol James loses her job as a result of the modern day recession, she watches as her family crumbles into ruin. Feeling trapped by the pressures of job-hunting and family tension, she seeks solace in the only quiet room in her home: the attic. It is there that she discovers an old journal that was written by a circus family during the Great Depression. As more family members step into the attic and discover the journal, they are presented with the many parallels between their own lives and the lives of the characters in the journal. Will uncovering the secrets of the past help this family to remember their roots or will it drive them further apart? Come see what treasures lie under the dust.
