We are looking for a diverse group of students to join a professional staff of artists and educators and share their collective stories. In doing so, one, solid, unified piece of theatre with music is born. In order to make this happen, we need creative people of all types. This experience is about the creative process, and while the performance is an enormous part of our workshop, the focus is on the days of creation. We need writers, actors, poets, dreamers, singers, visual artists, composers, musicians, designers and creative people of all types.

Students will join a professional staff to brainstorm, write, design, compose, choreograph and produce an original work of musical theatre – all in three weeks. What will the show be about? It’s up to the group! Lovewell workshops are a singular experience, unlike any other you’ve been a part of in the past; ideal for writers, builders, actors, musicians, designers, singers, composers, and imaginative young people of all types who want to dream big, work hard and experience the thrill of watching their collaborative creation come to life.

You’ll get to build on the skills you already have and flex your creative muscles by learning some new ones – at Lovewell, everybody gets to do a little bit of everything. Whether you’re a seasoned musical theatre vet seeking a new adventure or this your first step towards the stage, come spend your summer with other creative young folks just like you in a warmly inviting, wildly inspiring, and totally accepting environment. No matter who you are – you belong at Lovewell.

$25 application fee + $3,400 for Tuition, Room and Board Package which includes:

  • Room and board for 22 nights at the Eslöv Folkhögskola
  • 3 meals a day 7 days a week (June 16-July 5th)
  • Train ride from Copenhagen to Eslöv, Sweden
  • Train ride from Eslöv to Stockholm
  • Two night’s hotel stay in Stockholm at the end of the process
  • A digital download of the performance
  • A Lovewell logo shirt.Plane fare is NOT included in this price and food for the 2 days we spend in Stockholm is also not included. Lovewell will reserve flights in the spring and each student will be responsible for payment and final reservation of their travel.

 

 

  • Cancellations made by March 1st, 2025 are fully refundable, minus a 10% administration fee.
  • Cancellations made between March 2nd- April 30th, 2025 and the start date of the workshop are 50% refundable.
  • Cancellations (for any reason) made after May 1st, 2025 are nonrefundable as deposits will already be paid to our partners.
