All applicants fill out the application in its entirety (excluding returning students who do not need to fill out the essay portion of the application (simply enter N/A). Your paperwork will not be processed and you will not have a secured slot in your chosen workshop until your application is complete.
Mask requirements, temperature checks, and sanitation protocols are in place.
Our workshops will operate in person at NSU in FTL at 50% of regular capacity with mask requirements (well-fitting, completely covering mouth and nose), temperature checks, and sanitation protocols in place. Testing may be required.
Due to the collaborative nature of our workshops, social distancing, while always encouraged, is not always realistically possible. Please keep this in mind when assessing whether this program is a good fit for your family. COVID procedures are subject to change.
$700 +$25 application fee
This includes 95+ hours of in workshop time; a Lovewell logo shirt; digital download of the performance.
A $25 application fee is due upon submitting your application. You can choose to pay the app fee along with half of the tuition now; 1/2 by April 28th; 2nd half by May 28th. You must pay the $25 fee in order for us to process your application
To the extent possible, Lovewell will offer partial scholarships to families with limited financial resources. Each student is eligible for one scholarship per summer. You must first apply to the workshop and be accepted before applying for a scholarship. The scholarship program works on a first come, first serve rolling basis. We highly suggest applying and securing your space in the workshop even if you intend to apply for a scholarship, as there are limited slots available in this workshop. If a family has more than one student attending one of our workshops, they will receive one $50 discount from the final payment of the final workshop.
Cancellations made by May 1st, 2021 are fully refundable (minus a 10% administration fee). Cancellations made between May 2nd, 2021 and the date the workshop begins are refundable (minus a 10% administration) only if the space in the workshop can be filled by another full paying student. Cancellations (for any reason) made after the workshop begins are nonrefundable.
The COVID-19 pandemic is a constantly-evolving situation. Lovewell is committed to the health and safety of our workshop participants and staff and will follow the most updated guidance provided by the CDC and the local government. If public health needs determine that it’s necessary to shift our in-person workshops to online, participants will be notified in a timely manner. At that time, you will have the option to attend the online workshop (and will receive a refund of the difference in tuition cost) or receive a full refund (minus the $25 application fee).
